Responsibilities

  • Functional English comprehension reading, writing and speaking
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in mechanical assembly and/or manufacturing.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of product lines.
  • Advanced knowledge and comprehension of mechanical drawings and b.o.m.'s.
  • Familiar with manufacturing process
  • Compliance with I.S.O. 9000/2000 system
  • Lean / Kaizen experience
Qualifications Assemble from drawings, b.o.m.'s and assembly procedures with general supervision. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Not listed in any particular order)
  • Assembles and completes Factory Acceptance Testing of WCT products as per technical documentation, drawing specification, process,
  • Ensures Factory Acceptance Testing of WCT products as per engineering technical documentation, drawing specification, process,
  • Knowledge of complex hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Proficient with measuring instruments, hand and power tools, and measuring devices.
  • Ability to rework complete product line.
  • Communicates effectively with Production, Engineering and Test departments.
  • Familiar with Operational Excellence Process Standards and Improvement.
  • Contribute and assist in Lean and Kaizen implementation
  • Ability to assemble complete product line with minimal support.
  • Ability to mentor junior personnel and assist in coordination of mentor assignments
  • Performs final inspection of all assemblies and documentations, when required.
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
  • Understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements and company policies of Weatherford.
  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and company with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

  • Advanced knowledge and comprehension of mechanical drawings and BOM's
  • Familiar with manufacturing process
  • Supports effective assembly planning and kitting operations with respect to production schedules.
  • Performs house-keeping duties as required with working in a production assembly workshop.
  • Compiles and completes necessary assembly and testing documentation to verify conformance, providing full traceability of all activity associated with the assembly and factory acceptance testing of WCT products.
  • Represents Weatherford via collaboration with third party inspectors as necessary to ensure customer quality control plan witness requirements are adhered to.
  • Provides continual improvement feedback to line management and engineering as necessary to ensure assembly and factory acceptance test operations are adequately resourced.
  • Collaborates with inspection and engineering as necessary to troubleshoot and fault find non-conforming components, sub-assemblies and/or products.
  • Supports stores activity when necessary
  • Any other reasonable tasks directed to you by your supervisor.
