Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Yanbu Refinery Department (YRD) within Maintenance Engineering Unit (MEU).

Yanbu refinery currently has the capacity to process 250,000 BPD and is located in Western Saudi Arabia (Yanbu City). MEU is responsible to provide technical Maintenance support to daily activities and execute expense projects to ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco & industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

Your primary role will be to promptly deal with any issues when faults or problems with equipment occur.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment performance and mechanical problems.

Evaluate new technologies and alternatives for equipment repair and come up with the optimum decision.

Manage equipment repairs, upgrades and complex installations utilizing inhouse resources or contractor services.

Participate in RCA and other technical discussions.

Provide full support and monitor our Junior Engineers.

Monitor & close all payments for the contractor services in timely manner.

Provide technical support to the maintenance team to enhance preventive maintenance strategies and checks, along with predictive maintenance strategies and operation-based maintenance checks.

Participate effectively in OME's meeting and provide all needed technical maintenance support.

Minimum Requirements

You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.

You should have a minimum of 10 years maintenance experience.

You should be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of engineering practices.

Preferred certifications include Fundamental Engineer (FE), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Any other extra relevant certificates will be a plus.
