Job Description - Junior Sous Chef (Indian Specialty) (HOT0BOQE) Job Number: HOT0BOQE Work Location: Double Tree by Hilton Fujairah City, Fujairah Business Centre, Al Maktoum Rd, Fujairah A Junior Sous Chef (Indian Specialty) is responsible for contributing to menu creation, managing and training the kitchen brigade to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, and managing food cost controls. What will I be doing? As a Junior Sous Chef, you will: Contribute to menu creation Manage and train the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organized and motivated team Ensure consistency in the quality of dishes at all times Manage customer relations in the absence of the Junior Sous Chef Ensure resources meet business needs through effective management of working rotas Support brand standards through training and assessment of your team Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards What are we looking for? The ideal candidate: Has strong experience as a butcher, with expertise in Indian curries and handling banquet kitchens Approaches food creatively Possesses strong supervisory skills Is committed to delivering high levels of customer service Has excellent planning and organizing skills Is willing to learn Additional advantageous qualities include: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings What will it be like to work for Hilton?
