Join to apply for the Senior Accountant – Food & Beverage role at Palazzo Versace Dubai Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a sister company of Palazzo Versace Dubai and oversee the financial operations of the F&B outlet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or restaurant finance and will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting functions, cost control, and financial reporting. This position requires both hands-on accounting skills and strategic financial oversight.Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and P&L analysis for the F&B outlet Monitor financial performance and highlight variances to budget/forecast with commentary Monitor and analyze cost of sales, food & beverage costs, labor, and overhead Support inventory management and conduct regular audits of stock, usage, and wastage Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to improve cost efficiency and margin performance Ensure accurate recording of daily sales, promotions, discounts, and refunds Manage vendor payments, contracts, and reconciliation of supplier statements Maintain accurate records of tax filings, VAT, and statutory obligations Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts Participate in internal and external audits, implementing any recommended improvements Candidate Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in F&B or hospitality Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and F&B cost control Experience with POS systems, inventory software, and accounting platforms Proficient in Excel and financial modeling Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Hospitality #J-18808-Ljbffr
