Description
The HR Business Partner should be a trusted advisor to senior line management on all human capital management matters with a commercial understanding of the business unit strategy, priorities and operating model to ensure the right people's capabilities are in place to deliver optimum business performance. The role is accountable for all aspects of HR delivery via functional specialists and Service Delivery-including talent acquisition; employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management consultation; and talent management consultation. lead on specific initiatives and input into those designed by others. Champions employee interests when required Role & Responsibilities Strategic Partnering Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.Employee Relations Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and performance issues.Promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.Talent Management Support recruitment strategies and participate in talent acquisition for key roles.Drive succession planning, career development, and internal mobility initiatives.Performance Management Guide managers through performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.Identify performance gaps and support improvement plans or coaching efforts.Change Management Lead or support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, mergers, or cultural transformations.Communicate change effectively and help teams adapt.Data-Driven Decision Making Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, absenteeism) to inform strategy.Use data to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.Compliance & Risk Management Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and internal policies.Mitigate risks related to employee relations, contracts, and workplace safety.Knowledge & Experience Ten (10) years HR experience with at least two (2) years of HR Business Partner experience.Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues Medium to advance Excel skills and working knowledge Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.Medium to advance Excel skills and working knowledge Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing commercial environment Ability to set high personal goals and work independently Education & Qualifications A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field Certifications: While not always mandatory, certifications such as CIPD, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR can be beneficial
