Job Description A Material Coordinator plays a critical role in the efficient operation of a supply chain, managing the flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers. This role involves ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of materials required for production or distribution activities, overseeing inventory levels, and coordinating the logistics needed to maintain seamless supply chain operations. Material Coordinators are responsible for communication with suppliers, the implementation of inventory control measures, and maintaining detailed records of transactions. This position requires a high degree of organizational skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems to prevent disruptions in the supply chain. Requirements Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field required. Minimum of two years experience in materials coordination or logistics. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices. Proficiency in using ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for the role. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
