Join WSP, and you'll be at the heart of a team of international experts all dedicated to growing and sharing their expertise, and working on projects that transform society for all of us.WSP Middle East is looking for a highly skilled Building Management Systems (BMS) / Smart Buildings Services Specialist to join our team in Dubai, UAE.As a specialist in BMS and smart building services, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of innovative solutions that enhance building performance, efficiency, and occupant comfort. Your new role, what's involved?The ideal candidate will be an Electrical, Electronics, Systems or Computer Engineer and shall possess at least 8 to 10 years minimum experience in BMS and SCADA with a focus on the following:Technical Knowledge & Experience with:
BMS-DDC, PLC, RTU, GRMS and Home Automation, for major platforms like Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider etc.
System Integration on various protocols such as OPC, Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, Profibus etc. and inter-systems integration between various systems like SCADA, Lighting Control, Security systems etc.
Understanding of Control philosophy for HVAC
PLC Programming / DDC Programming & HMI Design
In building network Design, Installation & Testing (Fiber and copper)
Outside plant fiber network design
Electrical Instrumentation (selection, installation and calibration)
Panel Design with component selection and troubleshooting (IP Rating, Breaker Selection, Power & Heat Load Calculation etc.)
Project Drawings: General Arrangement, Power Distribution, Module Wiring, System Topology, Hookup Drawings, Layout Drawings, Containment Drawings etc.
Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment, HAZOP
Proficient in Technical Documentation such as FRS, DDS, FAT, SAT, UTPs, O&M Manual, Training Manual, ITP, Method Statement, HAZOP & Risk Assessment etc.
Understanding of SMART systems and IoT / IIoT
System Integration and Diversity
Experience in Building Automation Systems: BMS, Fire Alarm, Lighting Control, HVAC, Energy Management, GRMS and Home Automation etc.
Experience in system integration for Building Energy Management system on Open industry protocols such as OPC, BACnet etc.
Experience on District Cooling systems and campus wide BMS will be beneficial.
Experience in structured cabling.
Full Project Life Cycle ExposureExperienced in all steps of project implementation from initiation to completion i.e.
Experience is Pre-sales design and costing
Highly proficient in the interpretation of technical specifications
Experience in project implementation and sub-contractor coordination
Should have successfully Tested and commissioned several projects (references to be provided)
Knowledge and Familiarization with Standards:
Familiarization with Industrial Standards ISA, IEC, BS, IEEE
Familiarization with Industrial Standards BS7671 (Electrical Installation)
Familiarization with Industrial Standards IEC 61131 (Programmable Controllers)
Familiarization with Industrial Standards IEC 61850 (Substation Automation)
Basis ASHRAE requirements for HVAC
TIA 606A and TIA 607 for ICT Cabling Installation.

Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, Systems, or Computer Engineer or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 08 Years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of BMS and smart building solutions, preferably within the Middle East region.
Project Management Skills with the ability to monitor and forecast progress.
Should be able to multitask and work on multiple projects.
Should be a Team Player and have the ability to work in a multicultural environment
Should possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Should be able to work comfortably under pressure and be a self-learner/
