Job Title
Managing Director. Reporting to Founder & Chairman
Key Result Areas
Focus on origination, business development and transaction placement activities
Assist the firm to ensure quality and efficient transaction execution
Required Experience / Responsibilities:
Identifying opportunities in the market
Work closely with clients and internal team on the execution of transactions
Interaction and coordination with clients to assist in submitting timely response to queries from investors, bankers, third parties
Strategizing for raising / restructuring of resources for clients
Understanding client needs and objectives towards evaluation of new opportunities
Understanding of DFSA compliance procedures and regulations
Strong network of clients, investors (corporates, family groups, private equity and venture capital firms)
Motivating and Managing Teams to achieve business targets.
Knowledge and Skills
Chartered Accountant / Masters degree in Finance with a minimum of 15+ years of post-qualification experience in the investment banking industry
Good understanding of the deal lifecycle and process (pre-deal, diligence, valuation and post-deal)
Strong analytical and presentation skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
Demonstrated experience with managing of day to day aspects of client relationships and projects and working with diverse teams
This professional will have strong marketing and relationship skills, and a broad referral network from which to generate new business for the firm
Maintain deep knowledge and expertise across industry sector(s)
Staying updated on the market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may affect the bank or its clients
Good experience in negotiation contracts.
