One of the hightechhealthcare facilities is the regions biggest private referralhospital offering effective medical care in a professional andcaring environment is looking for General OrthopedicConsultant. A General Orthopedic Consultantis a specialized physician who diagnoses treats and managesmusculoskeletal conditions and injuries affecting bones jointsmuscles ligaments and tendons. They provide comprehensiveorthopedic care including surgical and nonsurgical interventions topatients of all ages. General Orthopedic Consultants may work inhospitals clinics or private practices collaborating with otherhealthcare professionals to deliver highquality patientcare.Conductthorough medical evaluations including historytaking physicalexaminations and review of imaging studies (Xrays MRI CT scans) todiagnose musculoskeletal conditions andinjuries.Interpretdiagnostic tests and imaging studies to aid in diagnosis andtreatmentplanning.Developand implement individualized treatment plans tailored to eachpatients specific condition lifestyle and treatmentgoals.Prescribemedications physical therapy and other nonsurgical interventions tomanage musculoskeletal disorders and promotehealing.Performsurgical procedures such as joint replacement fracture fixationarthroscopy and soft tissue repair as necessary to restore functionand alleviatepain.Assessand manage fractures including closed reduction casting splintingand surgical intervention whenindicated.Monitorhealing progress and provide followup care to ensure optimaloutcomes and preventcomplications.Performjoint preservation procedures such as cartilage restorationosteotomy and ligament repair to prevent or delay the need forjoint replacementsurgery.Performjoint replacement surgery (arthroplasty) for patients with advanceddegenerative joint disease (e.g. osteoarthritis) to improvemobility and relievepain.Provideemergent and urgent care for patients with orthopedic traumaincluding fractures dislocations and soft tissueinjuries.Stabilizeand immobilize injured limbs perform wound care and initiateappropriate treatment to prevent further injury and promotehealing.Evaluateand treat sportsrelated injuries such as sprains strains tendonitisand ligament tears in athletes of all ages and skilllevels.Provideguidance on injury prevention rehabilitation and safe return tosportsactivities.Educatepatients and their families about their orthopedic conditionstreatment options and rehabilitationprotocols.Provideguidance on postoperative care activity modification and lifestylemodifications to optimize recovery and prevent recurrence ofinjuries.Collaboratewith other healthcare professionals including physical therapistsoccupational therapists and radiologists to coordinatecomprehensive care forpatients.Consultwith specialists in related fields such as neurosurgeryrheumatology and rehabilitation medicine to manage complex casesand ensure optimaloutcomes.Maintainaccurate and uptodate medical records including patient historiesexamination findings treatment plans and surgical notes incompliance with regulatory standards and institutionalpolicies.RequirementsExperienceFrom US (Board) Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT) Ireland(CSD CSCST) Australia &NZ (Fellowship) France (DES DESC)And Other European Countries According to The QualificationEquivalence Tables of the UAEMOHMinimum 2 to 3 yearsexperience in a hospital environment Western and Asian countriesexperience is preferred.
