No two days are the same - so theviews are alwayschanging!Full-time,permanent position with core hours M-F 8 am-5 pm, with some flexaround those hours and occasionalweekendsCompetitivepay hourly pay, $30-36/hour based on experience, with overtimeavailableAcomplete benefits package with 401K and Paid Time Off(PTO)Mileage reimbursementto client sitesLeadershipand a team that values work-lifebalanceTheProject Engineer is responsible forthe analysis, design, implementation, and post-documentation ofcustomer cloud and on-premises technology projects, as well asproviding 3rd level technical assistance to the technology supportteam member whenrequired.Inaddition, the Project Engineer must have the ability to understandthe business impact of technology decisions withincustomers' networks and recommend the most comprehensivesolution to meet the customers' business needs.TechnologyDesign andImplementationDesignand implementation at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity,routers, firewalls, switches WLAN and securitysolutionsDesignand implement private and public cloud solutions as well astraditional on premise server and application solutions forcustomers using technologies including VMware, Windows Server,Exchange Server, SQL, RDS, Citrix and other technologies within ourservice catalog.vicecatalog.Designand implement storage, backup, and disaster recoverysolutionsDesignand implement endpoint technology solutions including VDI, desktopmigrations, tablet and wireless technologies for Windows, MAC,Android, andothersTravelto client sites and provide onsite service and support asnecessary and provide on-call support asassignedProjectManagement:Reviewand optimize current project implementation methods to supportbusinessgrowthProjectManagement on assigned projects, including coordination,scheduling, time keeping, anddocumentationAttendand conduct internal and client meetingsand manage clientexpectationsProvidepresales support for customer technologysolutionrequirementsManageproducts and inventory relative to assignedprojectAdministration:Performsystem documentation on implemented technologies for the supportteam to have efficient means of post-implementation technicalsupportdocumentsPerformresearch and testing of new technologies to remain nimble withemergingtechnologiesDocumentinternal processes and procedures related to duties andresponsibilities Experience,Skills, Education, andAbilities:3+years of experience in a network engineerrole4-yeardegree in CIS or MIS and 4+ year work experience in informationtechnology, or equivalent workexperienceStronglyencouraged: 3+ years of experience as a project engineer withproject managementresponsibilitiesCertificationin Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIASecurity+ or similar industry trainingprogramMusthave valid driver's license & reliablevehicleAble tolift, carry and move 40 pounds of computerequipmentTheNetworkPro:Since2003, The Network Pro has delivered proven managed technologysolutions and superior IT consulting services.
