JOB PURPOSE To provide expert advice in the establishment of best corporate governance practices, in line with the area of development & continuous improvement functions, organizational structures, and systems, policies. KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Develop governance plans, policies, frameworks, and methodologies in accordance with global best practices, standards, and RTA’s strategy and plans.
  2. Develop, enhance, and maintain governance standards concerning the systems/applications that support the area functional teams and contribute to the area of business process management teams.
  3. Develop and maintain benchmarking frameworks and establish strong relations with benchmarking partners through conducting field visits and adopting the best practices and cultural environment in reference to RTA needs and environment.
  4. Identify gaps between the current cultural environment and the environment needed for successful implementation of the business strategy in terms of improvement framework, processes, and knowledge transfer.
  5. Design and articulate the corporate & high-level processes (Value added chain diagram) to RTA mission and strategy, and ensure correct deployment and cascading all the way through to operational level.
  6. Develop, review, and maintain the governance framework models, which define, regulate, and govern the relationship and level of provided service between RTA and its Agencies in accordance with international best practices and the strategic directions.
  7. Identify key performance indicators for business processes that guarantee achievement of highest business performance and business objectives delivery.
  8. Develop and conduct diagnostic organizational assessment tools and processes that measure the corporate governance adequacy and internal work culture within RTA with the goal of assessing whether or not the existing environment is aligned with the needs-based articulated model.
  9. Review and maintain the authority delegation manual, and ensure full alliance and compliance with regulations, policies, governance framework and defined roles and responsibilities at RTA.
  10. Perform other related responsibilities as appropriate.
