Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execute implementation of analytical models to assess the performance of retail malls, including foot traffic analysis, tenant sales performance, and leasing metrics.Monitor and analyze key retail metrics such as occupancy rates, sales per square foot, average transaction value, tenant mix effectiveness, and customer dwell time.Proven experience of using Power BI and/or other data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports, providing insights to senior management and stakeholders.Evaluate tenant performance by comparing sales data, footfall, and other relevant metrics across different retail categories and individual stores, providing recommendations for lease negotiations and tenant retention strategies.Develop and maintain models to project and optimize lease renewals, rent escalations, and vacancy rates, ensuring alignment with business goals.Identify and implement process improvements in data collection, reporting, and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.Manage the business data management for retail, streamlining and providing real-time information to each business function under the retail team.Provide and coordinate all letting activity reports across the retail portfolio.Support business functions and finance in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, valuation, etc.Preparation of weekly Leasing Committee (LC) packs for both main units and Sp leasing and act as the custodian of LC.Define and implement reporting templates.Years Of ExperienceMin of 8+ years of related experience in business data analytics in Retail Business.Min of 3+ years of experience in managerial roles.Field Of ExperienceExperience in data and statistical analysis/methods.Experience in real estate/retail industry.Technical And Interpersonal SkillsSolid statistical, mathematical, and programming knowledge.Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Power BI/Tableau.Data visualization capabilities such as drawing out patterns, trends, and correlation of available data.Well versed in MS Office applications or other database software for the proper management, safekeeping, and retrieval of data.Excellent communication skills (verbal, written).Excellent reporting and presentation skills.Desired Candidate ProfileAnalytics Strategy Development: Creating and implementing a comprehensive business analytics strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.Data Management: Overseeing data collection, storage, and analysis processes to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility.Insight Generation: Analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their analytics needs and provide actionable insights.Reporting and Visualization: Developing and delivering reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.Performance Metrics: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and support continuous improvement efforts.Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring the analytics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.Advanced Analytics: Exploring and implementing advanced analytics techniques to enhance decision-making capabilities.Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with senior management and stakeholders to understand business challenges and present data-driven solutions.Compliance and Governance: Ensuring compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements related to data use and privacy.SkillsAnalytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or similar) for data manipulation and visualization.Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and strategies to align analytics efforts with organizational goals.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans that leverage analytics for competitive advantage.Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee multiple analytics initiatives and ensure timely delivery.Leadership: Proven leadership abilities to inspire and develop a high-performing analytics team.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify business challenges and propose effective analytical solutions.Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and work collaboratively with various departments.
