Job Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Facility Management: Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, utilities, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more).
  • Service Contracts and Agreements: Prepare and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and vendor contracts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspections and Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections, daily rounds, and equipment checks to ensure grounds and facilities meet high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate inventory of parts, supplies, tools, and materials to minimize downtime.
  • Operational Excellence: Execute day-to-day operational tasks at the highest level while supporting long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Capital Projects and Major Repairs: Manage and oversee significant repairs and capital improvements, including roofs, HVAC, lighting, and fire alarms.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement and monitor a robust planned maintenance program, ensuring timely repairs, adjustments, and servicing of facility systems.
  • Infrastructure Evaluation: Assess operational systems and infrastructure to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of facilities staff, delegating tasks and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to SLAs and reporting on vendor performance metrics.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, schedule, and review activities related to facility management hard services.
  • Building Management Systems: Utilize and manage Building Management Systems (BMS) for enhanced operational control.
  • Sustainability Practices: Integrate sustainable building practices into daily operations and strategic planning.
  • Financial Oversight: Understand financial challenges, regulations, and budget management associated with facility operations.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Certification in Facilities Management (CFM) and facilities management professional (FMP) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance or related field.
  • Proficiency in using facilities management software.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
