Manager, Truck SalesDepartment: Hub MEENA (BP65000)Job OverviewUD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. In this role, the trucks sales manager will drive the UD Trucks sales performance mostly in East Africa and potentially the Middle East within our area of responsibility, be responsible for leading the execution of the trucks sales together with our UD Trucks partners, as well as coach our partners towards total solutions for our customers.Responsibilities And DutiesTo drive the truck sales activities for the UD Trucks brand within the assigned markets.To lead the business through the importers truck sales organization towards the short and long-term targets.Enhance market development, market position, and ensure the optimal short- and long-term commercial truck sales business result.To own the responsibility of volume and market share growth for assigned markets.Implement and secure UD Trucks price for assigned markets in conjunction with Sales Director.To build up and maintain a healthy relationship with importers and key customers.To drive the implementation of the UD Truck Sales Process by implementing various UD Trucks sales tools and processes.Enhance and develop sales through value-based selling, segmentation, and sales of total transport solutions.Work with importer sales team to enhance their customer approach process, sales process understanding, and value-based selling concepts - walk the talk to enhance their capabilities.Manage the growth of the sales competence development, within the area of responsibility.Review the product performance and customers' responses about products and provide feedback.To drive customer support and satisfaction through the importers' organization.Ownership for correct specification key in for the truck order system.Support in securing the competitors' product specifications, market strategies, and offerings.To have an active role in the strategy and business plan process and to drive the implementations.Support in the investigation of new markets by collecting data and gathering information about the market and truck industry.Key InterfacesTrucks & Service Sales Organization UD Trucks MEENA (Middle East, East & North Africa) FZETrucks, Service Sales/Parts Sales organization (Importers)Vehicle Sales team at HeadquartersKey Performance IndicatorsSales volume and market share for the assigned markets.Price management and profitability for assigned markets.Development of importer sales team.Customer satisfaction.Effective usage of the UD systems UDSS, OM, WIS, PERF, STPI, Body builder website, etc.Enhancement of usage of the sales systems by importers.Being fully transparent in everything performed and following the UD Trucks better life, code of conduct, compliance policy, and authorization policy.Knowledge & Skills RequiredKnowledgeTrucks technical knowledge.Passion for & knowledge of the trucks industry.Good understanding of the Middle East, East, North and West Africa business environment.SkillsFluent in both written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus.Fully proficient in MS Office applications.Networking skills (internal and external).Presentation skills.Adaptability to different environments and audiences.Flexibility to travel within the MEENA region.International experience and working with multi-cultural teams.Positive attitude, open mindset, teamwork, customer focus, business-oriented, motivated, and determined to reach agreed objectives.Leadership, negotiating, and people skills would be valuable.Qualifications & Experience RequirementQualificationBachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or any related field.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in the field of commercial vehicles (or similar).Experience working in a regional office.About UD TrucksPart of the Isuzu group, UD Trucks is a global leading international commercial vehicle solutions provider headquartered in Japan.
