We are currently seeking a detailoriented andproactive Purchasing Officer to join our team in the constructionindustry. The Purchasing Officer will play a key role in ensuringthe timely procurement of materials equipment and servicesnecessary for our construction projects. The ideal candidate willhave experience in purchasing within the construction sector strongnegotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate withsuppliers and internalstakeholders.Responsibilities:Developand implement procurement strategies to meet project requirementswhile optimizing cost quality and deliverytimelines.Source and evaluate suppliersnegotiate terms and conditions and establish and maintain strongrelationships with vendors.Review purchaserequisitions and generate purchase orders in accordance withproject specifications and budgetaryconstraints.Coordinate with project managersengineers and other stakeholders to understand project needs andensure timely procurement of materials andequipment.Monitor inventory levels trackdeliveries and resolve any discrepancies or issues related toorders.Conduct market research to identify newsuppliers products and industry trends and make recommendations forcostsaving initiatives.Evaluate supplierperformance and conduct regular supplier performance reviews toensure compliance with contractual agreements and qualitystandards.Collaborate with the financedepartment to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices andpayments.Maintain accurate records ofpurchases contracts and supplier agreements and prepare reports asneeded.Stay informed about changes in marketconditions pricing and regulatory requirements that may impactprocurement activities.Job Types:Fulltime Parttime ContractPay: Up to AED7000.00per monthThis job has been sourced from an external jobboard.
