Operations Supervisor - Installations and New Builds: Dammam Al Khobar, Ash Sharqiyah, Saudi Arabia

Hands-on engagement in surveys, installations and engagement with clients and vendors.
Lead and supervise a team of technicians engaged in the surveying, installation, and commissioning of solids control equipment for drilling and exploration operations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for solids control equipment installations and new build projects.
Ensure that all equipment installations adhere to industry standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
Coordinate the procurement of necessary equipment, parts, and materials for installations and new build projects.
Oversee the assembly, installation, and testing of solids control systems, including dryers, centrifuges, shale shakers, mud cleaners, and associated equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks during installations to verify compliance with established standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during installations, working to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Provide on-site supervision and support to the installation team, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to manage spare parts and consumables inventory for future projects.
Maintain accurate records of installation progress, and project-related documentation.
Prepare detailed reports and project updates for management, highlighting project milestones, challenges, and successes.
Foster a culture of safety by promoting adherence to safety protocols and ensuring that all team members follow safety guidelines.
Train and mentor technicians on proper installation procedures, maintenance protocols, and equipment operation.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to solids control equipment and installations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Several years of hands-on experience in solids control equipment installations and new build projects within the oil and gas industry.
Strong technical knowledge of solids control systems, drilling equipment, and related machinery.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
In-depth understanding of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of successful project completions.
Proficiency in using relevant software for project planning, reporting, and documentation.
Willingness to work in physically demanding and challenging environments, often in remote locations.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
