Mechanical Engineer - Doha, QatarJob Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Priorities in this role will include:Delivery of mechanical engineering projects to timeManagement of project resource requirements in conjunction with senior engineerAbility to liaise with design team and site team is essentialAbility to design economical, sustainable and buildable schemes to tight time and budget deadlinesInvolvement in office technical activities such as writing design guides.Mentoring junior engineering staffProviding the technical production for the design teamHands on design from inception through to construction documentationReports to Senior Engineer/Associate Director Job Requirements:The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills:Experience working in a consultancy and multi-disciplinary engineering / design office Full working knowledge of HVAC systems design and familiarity with energy modellingExperience with British, American, Qatari and international standardsGood communication and interdisciplinary facing skillsProven track record of delivering technically sound projects to programme with minimum supervisionSome experience in planning project resourcesAbility to provide guidance and motivation to technicians who are working alongside on various projectsExperience with QSAS, LEED or other recognized sustainable design guidelines for the regionFamiliar with main software packages such as HEVACOMP, IES, HAP etcFamiliar with and able to assist in the compilation of QCS, NBS, CSI and HVAC and Public Health specifications About The Company As a global leader in consulting, design, design-build, operations, and program management, CH2M HILL has the human and technical resources, the international footprint, and the depth of know-how and experience to help clients achieve success in any corner of the world.At CH2M HILL, we always strive to perform above your expectations and our industry's standards.
