Position: Vessel Operations Engineer - Oil and Gas Industry
Project: NFPS 2 - Saipem
Location: Qatar

Mission:
Provide engineering reviews, address operation, advise (directly and indirectly) best practices both in the tender and in the projects to the Project Operation Manager (or delegate) to assist in the achievement of project/tender objectives, according to the plan/procedures developed by the engineering project team
Job tasks:
- Review project documentation reporting errors/omissions and suggest improvements considering advices from vessel operations management
- Assist in liaising with Client Representatives/subcontractors
- Assist in monitoring progress of work/site conditions and promptly advise if changes to project schedule/execution sequence may occur
- When onboard support Vessel Management Team in planning/execution of work/project contractual & technical requirements
- Participate to resolution of any technical problems
- Supervise execution of diving, pre-commissioning, post trenching and hook-up
- Provide operational input/support to onshore project teams
- Liaise with Installation Engineers during preparatory/mobilisation/installation phase
- Review installation procedures/loadout/seafastening plans for material/structures offshore transportation to ensure safe/timely installation
- Ensure completeness of construction materials/consumables lists liaising with Project Coordinator for timely procurement/delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Experience: 5-10 years in lifting operations of jacket and module offshore installation
- IT Skills: MS Office literate
