About theroleQatar Airways is looking for a creative andtalented UX Lead to join our Team designing the next generation ofsystems on desktop web and mobile for internal and externalcustomers. This is an intermediate level experienced role stronglycontributing to the to the prototyping phase of the end product.This position would be a great fit for someone who is a proven invisual design and prototyping passionate to deliver delightfulcustomers experiences test and iterate based on user feedback andwork with team leads to solve design problems and develop solutionsbased on business goals and objectives.Rolesand ResponsibilitiesMastery of AdobeXD and major UI design software/tools to quickly createlow/medium/highfidelity prototypes.IllustrateUX solutions using a variety of storyboards user flows interactiveprototypes and designs and present them across multiple levels ofthe business.A strong work portfoliodemonstrating experience creating great UserCentered Design (UCD)solutions (User flows Information Architecture wireframesprototypes).Partner closely with developers totranslate UX solutions into technical specifications and maintainUX pattern library that aligns with enterprise DesignSystem.Deep understanding of mobilefirst andresponsive design.Good experience in highperformance and scalable user interfaces using the most cuttingedgeframework.Qualifications7years experience as an Interaction Designer or UX Designer orsimilar role.Proficiency in the use ofindustry software such as Adobe XD Figma Sketch Invision or othervisual design and Wire framingtools.Experience collaborating with productowners architects and business analysts and engineering teams forimplementation of designs.Expertise inmobilefirst product design and responsiveframeworks.Solid understanding of Usabilitybest practices and an ability to create accessible products usingA/B testing customer feedback and other similartechniques.Good understanding of core frontendweb technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript jQuery XMLetc.Knowledge of Agile software developmentmindset and tools.Good verbal and writtencommunication skills the ability to effectively sell anidea.UX Design/Usability certification is anadded advantage.An available portfolio is amust.How to apply(Internal)ApplicationGuidelinesEmployees must submitapplications through internal vacancies portal (via GEMS)only.Please see below for all eligibility andrequirements for internal applications and please note that anyapplications not meeting the criteria will not beprocessed.All internal candidates can onlyhave three active applications at any point intime.All internal candidates must havecompleted a minimum 10 months in their current role in order toapply for a new role.All internal candidateswith an active final warning letter will be automaticallydisqualified from the recruitment process.Ifyou are Cabin Crew or Deck Crew (Qatar Airways & QatarExecutive) candidate you would require NOC to apply for thisrole.This job has been sourced froman external job board.This job hasbeen sourced from an external job board.More jobson
