Responsibilities:• Plan, teach and assess relevant, global and significantlearning engagements that differentiate for individual studentneeds, according to the requirements of the corresponding IBprogramme. • Create a stimulating classroom environment• Engage in some type of student activities beyond theclassroom • Participate in and assist with school eventsas required • Regularly contribute to curriculum planningand development including interdisciplinary units of work and thedevelopment of transdisciplinary skills and attributes of the IBlearner Profile. • Use inquiry as a pedagogical frameworkfor learning and teaching • Include technology in thestudents' learning experiences as a valid support to theprocess. • Give students regular feedback, both orally andwritten, and encourage students to respond to the feedback, reflecton progress Requirements: • Teaching qualificationadequate for the teaching job. • ICT knowledge. •Experience relevant to the job. • Fluency in English.Arabic and Spanish desirable. • Double degrees, master andinternational experience are valued positively. • Previousexperience of teaching the IB PYP is preferred, althoughoutstanding candidates without prior IB experience will beconsidered.
