Department HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (REFINING)
Title ENVIRONMENT TECHNICIAN I
Primary Purpose of Job Support Environment & Waste Management division by gathering field data that confirms the environmental status of the Refining Operations (Refinery & Chemical Plant). Inspect the installed facilities, ongoing contracts, and project related works to ensure that set conditions are followed. Inspect waste generation and disposal activities. Monitor process units, pipelines, and tanks for leaks under Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) program.
Education 1. Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent. 2. English Level-4 or Equivalent.
Experience & Skills
1. Relevant courses in Environment and waste management. 2. 5 years' experience in Environment Technician (Site) in the Refinery/Oil and Gas Industry. 3. Self-motivated, able to work independently. 4. Good written and spoken English. 5. Working knowledge of internationally accepted environment standard and requirements. 6. Knowledge of a wide variety and environment surveillance tools and sampling technologies/procedures. 7. Computer literate.
