Our client is one of the fastest-growing freight forwarding agencies in The Middle East. They are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team. Job Description:
- Generate business from customers for ocean and air shipments, customs clearance, and warehousing.
- Minimum target to be achieved: Four times CTC in profits.
- Minimum enquiries to be generated per month: 120 enquiries from quality customers (minimum 40% success rate).
- Work closely with pricing and customer service team for conversion and execution of shipments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Support JAFZA office by generating profits for customs clearance and warehousing.
- Onboard 3 new quality customers on a monthly basis.
- Collect outstanding payment from customers as per due date of invoices.
- Maintain realistic sales pipeline forecast for prospective customers.
- Prepare sales report and submit to management on a weekly basis.
- Clearly understand goals, policies, and procedures of the company.
- Proven verbal and written English communication skills.
- Previous experience working with a freight forwarding company (minimum 3 years).
- Knowledge of logistics sales for ocean and air shipments.
