- Time Management : Managing time efficiently to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and operational goals are met.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
- Critical Thinking : Ability to analyze operational issues, think critically, and come up with practical solutions to address challenges.
- Troubleshooting : Quickly identifying problems that could disrupt operations and working with other team members to resolve them efficiently.
- Prioritization : Knowing how to prioritize tasks, especially when multiple issues arise simultaneously, to ensure the most pressing matters are addressed first.
Communication Skills
- Team Communication : Clearly conveying operational goals, updates, and expectations to various departments, team members, or stakeholders.
- Reporting : Providing regular updates on operations to senior managers and highlighting key performance metrics, bottlenecks, or potential improvements.
- Conflict Resolution : Addressing any operational conflicts or misunderstandings between teams or employees, ensuring smooth communication across all levels.
Project Management
- Task Coordination : Managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated properly.
- Resource Allocation : Assisting in the allocation of resources (human, financial, and physical) to meet operational demands effectively.
- Budget Management : Helping to track and manage budgets for operational activities, ensuring the department or business stays within its financial limits.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Data Collection : Gathering and analyzing data related to business operations, such as inventory, staffing, or production.
- Performance Metrics : Using data to assess key performance indicators (KPIs) and making recommendations to improve performance.
- Reporting : Preparing reports that summarize operational performance, highlighting trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

The Associate Operations is responsible for supporting the seamless execution of daily retail operations across stores under his Area Manager. The role will oversee operational tasks, stock management, store performance analysis, staff coordination, and vendor management, contributing to achieving Retail Discount objectives and maximizing stores performance. Role Profile

Coordinate and implement daily store operations in line with company standards and guidelines.
Work closely with store teams to ensure operational procedures are followed, ensuring consistent service levels across locations.
Assist in monitoring store budgets, sales goals, and inventory management.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in real-time (e.g., inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, staff availability).
Assist with stock replenishment, stock takes and ensure that inventory records are accurate for the Area under his Area Manager.
Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure the store has adequate coverage to meet customer demand.
Track daily/weekly/monthly sales and performance metrics across all locations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in management and related field.
2-3 years in FMCG stores’ operations.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Strong communication skills.
