Health, Safety and Environment Manager (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace.
- Responsible for HACCP/Pre-requisite Program implementation through monitoring, coordination, assessment, verification, and follow-up.
- Responsible for all safety inspections in the workplace.
- Monitor, evaluate, and review existing, new, and upcoming health and safety legislation and ensure that the College has systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance.
- Assists the Commercial, Engineering, Stewarding, and Operations Department in all issues concerned with health and safety at work.
- Keeps updated with the latest industry trends as well as UAE and Dubai Housing Regulations and new products in the market.
- Undertake and attend fire drills and housing inspections.
- Create, maintain, and verify records of all HACCP and Health and Safety Reports documentation.
- Perform hazard analysis & continual improvement in food safety.
- Makes recommendations for areas of improvement related to food & safety.
- Offering general health and safety advice to all employees.
- Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor, and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace.
Competences:
- English – excellent oral and written skills.
- Works in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
- Have a complete understanding of health and safety standards/procedures.
- Ability to operate computer and office equipment.
