Product Strategy and Planning:Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape related to health data management and applications.Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for health data exchange, claims exchange, common data models, and clinical registries and integration of these solutions into a single portal for the provider.Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, enhancements, and product initiatives based on customer feedback, market demands, and business goals.Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.Product Development and Management:Work closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans.Define user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.Ensure compatibility and integration of clinical vocabularies, such as ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, and coding standards into the product's data model.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, privacy regulations, and security requirements.Manage the integration of the product with external systems, including interoperability with various healthcare applications and vendor solutions.Vendor Management and RFP Process:Evaluate and select vendors to meet specific product requirements and business needs.Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to develop and manage the request for proposal (RFP) process for vendor selection.Coordinate vendor evaluations, negotiations, and contract reviews to ensure successful partnerships.Monitor vendor performance and manage relationships to ensure product deliverables are met according to agreed-upon timelines and quality standards.System Integration:Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify integration needs and define system integration requirements.Oversee the planning, implementation, and testing of system integration projects, ensuring smooth and efficient data exchange across systems.Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure seamless system interoperability.Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for system integration, interoperability, and data exchange.Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.Support the sales process by providing product demonstrations, training, and technical expertise to customers and internal stakeholders.Work closely with customer success and support teams to gather customer feedback, address issues, and drive customer satisfaction.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and industry partners, to understand their needs and align product strategies accordingly.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration). Advanced degree preferred.Proven experience (5 years) as a Product Manager in the healthcare technology or data management industry preferably on provider facing solutions.In-depth knowledge of health data standards, such as HL7, FHIR, CDA, and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA and GDPR.Strong understanding of health information exchange (HIE) principles, claims exchange processes, common data models, and clinical registries.Familiarity with clinical vocabularies and coding systems, including ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, and coding guidelines.Experience in revenue cycle management, including billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.Demonstrated experience working with multiple vendors, managing the RFP process, and vendor relationships.Proven track record in system integration and interoperability, with the ability to navigate complex data exchange environments.Familiarity with software development methodologies, Agile frameworks, and product management tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product plans.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.Passion for healthcare technology, data interoperability, revenue optimization, and improving patient outcomes.
