MBR Partners is seeking a Cloud Ops Engineer for a leading client in the UAE.Key Performance Indicators / Key responsibilities and deliverables:Infrastructure DevOps: Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryOverall responsibility: Responsible for implementation, testing and operation of HW/SW components of NFVOrchestration and automation of all software and configurations development lifecycle processesAutomated event recovery, monitoring and anomaly detection.Detailed job description, responsibilities:Responsible for implementation, testing and operation of HW/SW components of NFVMaintains best practices on managing systems and services across all environmentsMaintains a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company's products and servicesCommunication and cooperation with 3rd parties/ vendorsParticipates on solving and eliminating of ops issues (incl. Ticket escalations)Responsible for preparation and administration of the technical documentation.Experience & Qualifications:Several years of experience in system administration or cloud operationsHands On Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHCE)Hands on experience with Continuous delivery tools (GIT, Jenkins, or Ansible)Hands on experience with cloud/NFV technologies on Openstack platformWork Experience with Openshift will be plusSolid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMPGood understanding of ETSI NFV architecture, building blocks and functionalitiesGood understanding of monitoring solutions (Prometheus or Zabbix) is a plusGeneral knowledge of network protocols (Open SDN experience is a plus)Experience implementing/supporting Kubernetes is a plus.Job Location: RemotePlease ignore any listed salary - this role is flexible.
