Job Description
Reporting to the Sr Director of Brand & Partnership in the GCC, the role will be responsible for leading large scale marketing strategies and plans to drive Visa's business and brand objectives across the GCC region. The position will also support the GCC core marketing team in managing various creative, digital & media agency relationships, as well as digital strategic partnerships like Meta, Tik Tok and Google.
Support in the development of brand strategies that increase Visa brand value and recognition in the GCC.
Design and implement insights-driven scaled brand marketing programs and campaigns.
Coordinate closely with digital, creative and media agencies to develop brand campaigns that increase Visa's share of voice in the market.
Act as the custodian of Visa brand in the GCC, ensuring all communications and programmes adhere to Visa brand positioning, standards and guidelines.
Activate global sponsorships and product initiatives locally.
Identify opportunities to scale programs to Marketing Services function.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Coordinate with CEMEA hub brand marketing team to remain up-to-date on brand strategy and guidelines.
Develop and implement strategic partnership initiatives that support the Visa brand's visibility and growth around specific consumer passion points.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have significant work experience in a multinational with a combination of strengths in strategic oversight and executional excellence. They should also have significant experience in marketing with strong bias towards delivering successful marketing programs.
Key Competencies:
Demonstrated track record in the development and implementation of integrated campaigns with experience deploying out-of-the-box creative digital marketing campaigns.
Innovative thinker with a track record of delivery and proven ability to manage several projects concurrently and see them through from conception to conclusion.
Project management skills.
Influencer or partnership tie up experience.
Pro-active with strong self-management skills including demonstrable drive and energy.
Creative, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
Arabic and English speaker.
Minimum bachelor's degree in business or a related field with a marketing foundation, MBA preferred.
Multi-national marketing experience is an advantage, ideally in digital media payments industry, consumer cards sector.
Excellent performance in marketing management (minimum 8 years experience in Marketing).
