Enterprise Architect(Banking domain):Ourclient is a global IT services organization seeking a highlyexperienced and talented Enterprise Architect to join the team inLondon. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for allarchitecture decisions within the supported area and will play acrucial role in building compelling architecture strategies androadmaps in alignment with their business objectives and technologystrategy. The successful candidate will have a deep understandingof various technologies and methodologies and be able to influenceclients investment portfolios and the direction of major changeprograms to ensure strategic architectureoutcomes.Keyresponsibility:Make all architecturedecisions for the area supported.Build compelling architecturestrategies and roadmaps in collaboration with Business,Engineering, Operations, Industry andVendors.Proactively drive the agenda tosimplify and modernize the technologylandscape.Keep up-to-date with the latestindustry direction and vendor offerings to ensure their strategiescapitalize on new opportunities.Influence investment portfoliosand the direction of major change programs to ensure strategicarchitecture outcomes.Build strong relationships andcommunicate effectively with key business and engineeringstakeholders, including CxOs.Be an authority for anarchitecture domain with deep and broad knowledge of technology,methodology and assurancetechniques.Desirabletechnicalexperience:The ideal candidate should have a broad experience covering many ofthe following, with a deep knowledge of at leastone.Cloud platformtechnologies covering IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services on Azure andGCP.Hybrid hosting architecture ofcloud and tradition platforms including Midrange Unix and Mainframetechnologies.API architecture standardsincluding OpenID Connect profiles, API gateways, microservicesincluding event-drivenarchitectures.Data trends including relational,NoSQL databases, data warehouses and datalakes.Designing critically importantsystems which have challenging service parameters, for exampleRPO/RTO Zero.Broad appreciation ofcybersecurity (e.g., zero trust) and the architectural implicationsit has on application design.Modern progressive technologiese.g., machine learning, artificial intelligence, blockchain,etc.Importantnote:It is aDirector levelopportunity.To performin the role effectively, banking particularly investment domainexperience isessential.Candidatemust have the right to work in the UK.
