JOB DESCRIPTIONCLOSING DATE 04 May 2024.NOTE: Please ONLY apply if you have sufficient experience and skills required as per job description below.Job Summary.Perform inspection and testing of fiberglass piping. Operates laboratory test equipment and instruments. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide Quality Control inspection support for manufacturing process control Incoming inspection and testing of raw materials Inspection of pipes during the manufacturing process. Maintain inspection log of every pipe produced. Identifying defects and acceptance criteria. Responsible for spooling the pipe of production reel. Extract and perform Samples for QC inspection and laboratory testing. Support the production team leader to control process parameters in producing quality pipes. Maintain a clean, organized work area. General maintenance of process equipmentBEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Key Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. Experience & Knowledge working with QMS.Strategic Ability to understand, evaluate and apply technical information Able to understand the business needs and drivers Anticipates the impact of change and rises to the challenge, with the ability to accept risk and uncertaintyOperating Understand and breakdown complex systems and workflowsConfidence Can be counted on to take personal responsibility in challenging situations. Willing to engage in brain storming in-order to settle them equitablyEnergy Will be energized by challenges and drawn towards opportunitiesOrganizational Is cognizant of organizational culture and politics, and appropriately adjusts personal style to be effectivePersonal and Interpersonal Imbued with a strong sense of customer focus (internal/external) Is known to consistently adhere to work instruction and procedures and expects others to follow suit Requires working in shifts.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:Essential: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of working experience . Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Basic knowledge products, manufacturing, inspection and testing. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. Ability to communicate in English and make inspection reports. (Arabic language would be added advantage)Desirable: Experience in people, team management and exposure to testing and inspection activates .
