Good day,
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Chemical Technician / Field Chemist or similar role.
- Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Industrial Chemistry or similar
- Able to start immediately
- Valid QID / NOC if local
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Conduct quality control tests and inspections on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Perform analytical testing using various methods and instrumentation to assess chemical composition, purity, and physical properties.
- Follow established QA/QC procedures and protocols to maintain consistency and reliability in testing.
- Document and maintain accurate records of test results, deviations, and corrective actions taken.
- Identify and report any non-conformities, deviations, or quality issues to appropriate personnel for investigation and resolution.
- Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting activities to identify underlying problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision in measurements.
- Validate test methods and procedures to ensure reliability and reproducibility of results.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance plans, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality-related issues and improve processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing process enhancements and quality improvements.
- Stay informed about relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices in quality assurance and quality control.
- Provide training and guidance to other laboratory personnel on QA/QC procedures and practices.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers regarding quality-related matters.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality policies in handling sensitive information related to quality assurance and quality control activities.
- And to carry out special tasks as needed by Management
