Health & Safety Supervisor Health& Safety Supervisor is responsible to assist the HSEManager running the day-to-day operation of the Health &Safety department ensuring that safe work practices are implemented/ conducted in all areas of the waterpark. • Assist theHSE Manager with the implementation of health and safety policies,procedures and standards. • Outlines safe operationalprocedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.• Conducts regular site inspections to ensure adherence toHealth and Safety policies and procedures. • Prepares andmaintains inspection records and produces reports that suggestimprovements. • Maintains incident records and producesstatistics for management as required. • Investigates andreports on all personal injury accidents and damage to propertyoccurring in the waterpark and document in an incident report.• Maintains a working knowledge of Health and Safety bestpractices and industry policy changes. • Produces healthand safety related reports, newsletters and bulletins. •Advises on a range of specialist areas including fire regulations,hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery andoccupational diseases. • Provides safety orientations andoversee the performance of all employees in order to ensure safework practices are followed. • Initiates and organizessafety awareness campaigns, including occupational safety workshopsand training sessions, in an effort to ensure that students andstaff observe established safety guidelines and procedures.• Carries out regular safety and security inspections ofvarious waterpark facilities, systems and equipment, includingfirst-aid rooms, electrical systems, fire extinguishers and firehydrants to ensure compliance with international standards.Qualifications • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in asimilar position in the hospitality industry (5* Hotel or resort).• High School diploma • 2 years of H&Sexperience preferably in waterpark park environment •Strong computer proficiency of Microsoft office: Excel, Word,PowerPoint, Outlook • Good reading, writing and oralproficiency in English language • Ability to speak otherlanguages such as Arabic will be anadvantage
