  • Support field Material Approval Request (MAR) completion under procurement guidelines and defined procedures.
  • Monitoring field purchasing activities of EPC Contractor Sub-contractors.
  • Ensure correctness of EPC Contractor Sub-contractors Purchasing Status Reports (PSR).
  • Ensure timely delivery schedules and transportation timelines
  • Ensure timely issue of Site procurement expediting reports by EPC Contractor.
  • Report any areas of concern to PMT and the relevant disciplines if applicable.
  • Work with Contractor to ensure early identification of potential issues.
  • Monitoring and provision of support for in country delivery, customs clearance and logistics matters.
  • Communicate with EPC Contractor on correctness and completeness of field Expediting Status Report (ESR).
  • Participate in weekly / monthly progress meetings
  • Provide Ad-Hoc support to Home Office activities
  • Reports to Head of Procurement EPC-3 / EPC-4.
Internal - Contact with all Major Projects Departments and other administration departments within QELNG. External - Contracting companies and occasional contact with stakeholders. Part B: Candidate Specification – Minimum Requirements Technical And Business Skills
  • Strong analytical skills. Experience of contract interpretation and administration beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in English.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, Excel).

Qualifications
  • BSc / BA (or equivalent higher education) or alternatively relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
Knowledge And/or Experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of project procurement experience.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments desirable
  • Experience in the Supply Chain and Materials Management
  • Exposure to EPC projects (engineering home office and field construction sites) beneficial.
