As we have been growing our client base and service offerings recently, we are looking for a driven, collaborative and qualified PR Account Director to join our energized team in Dubai.The OpportunityAs a PR Account Director, you will play a pivotal role within the agency, covering a broad remit of account development and overseeing delivery. As part of the account management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that we understand the required client deliverables and provide a consistent level of service. You'll be expected to develop partnership relationships with our clients, establishing credibility and becoming a trusted adviser. This could include leading a communications account, or supporting with a communications remit for integrated accounts. Whatever the brief, you'll focus on client business objectives, being aware of industry and technology trends to support them. You'll work closely with other members of the Comms account team and also help manage project execution as part of cross-functional teams that could include PR/Comms, strategists, data analysts, creatives, media, experience design, events, and technical deployment.ResponsibilitiesYou will be required to work across a wide range of subject areas, and at times stretch your comfort level in a supportive and dynamic team:Manage projects and account responsibilities, working as a team playerLead client communications, meetings, and workshopsSet the strategic direction for client engagements and projects, maintain project vision while possessing a deep understanding of project details, identify and plan ideal solutions to meet clients' business needsProactively provide clients with strategic insight and problem solving on a consistent basisEnsure all strategies and tactics developed support the brand objectiveIdentify up-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue beyond original contracted amountEnsure deadlines are communicated and met, demonstrating initiativeWork with project management to manage individual project budgetsEstablish priorities and ensure team members are aware of their responsibilitiesArrange meetings and issue accurate minutes as promptly as possibleWork with project management to prepare proposals and plansEnsure that all relevant documentation is stored and well organisedKeep account team and client up to date with competitive news and market trendsIdentify and cultivating new business opportunities for agencySupervise the management of accounts and development of the account teamIdentify and help resolve people/departmental conflicts with practical solutionsAdvocate for staff growth and development while providing clear and regular performance feedbackManage and achieve financial targets for client and agency profitability set by the management teamContribute towards developing the communications strategy and its implementationLead brainstorming sessions on your clients and make key presentationsWork with the management team to set priorities for the business.
