Join our cutting-edge Maintenance team Our Oilfield Services Team is assembling and testing the latest products of oilfield equipment, which is the beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative drilling tools. Partner with the best Baker Hughes is looking to hire 7 Manufacturing Electronic Technicians. As a Manufacturing Electronic Technician, you will troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies OTK/AZI/LTK. Responsibilities:

  • Test and evaluate the performance, and if required, repair general-purpose test equipment.
  • Review the accuracy of procedures for the assembly/disassembly and checkout of instrumentation. Configure test stations and systems.
  • Interpret test data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Assist in the set-up of experiments and the recording of experimental data.
Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a diploma or degree in engineering technology.
  • Be qualified for full AMO rebuild and/or Full Manufacturing of OTK/AZI/LTK TIDs.
  • Have 3-5 years of experience as a technician.
  • Possess advanced skills in soldering and assembling electro/mechanical devices.
  • Be proficient in the use of multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
  • Be able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
  • Have competence in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits, and electro/mechanical devices.
  • Demonstrate an advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.
