Analyst - Sustainable Investment Banking UAE Emiratisation program
This role is reserved only for the candidates that can be part of the Emiratization program. Our client is an international investment bank. Sustainable Investment Banking has a unique position within the bank: the team is in charge of advising, originating, structuring, and distributing financial products and solutions that include Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. The team assists all of the bank's business lines, as well as the Coverage Department, in originating and executing sustainable finance transactions (i.e., with a strong social and environmental component such as ESG rating advisory, green and social bonds, sustainability-linked finance products, or impact investment). Key Responsibilities- Sectorial analysis and monitoring of the Green, Social, and Sustainability Bond market trends;
- Participating in the preparation of client pitch and discussion materials for potential transactions;
- Participation in the execution of mandated transactions (green documents preparation, investor presentation, investor profiles, etc.);
- Monitoring and analysis of the reporting prepared by green and social bond issuers;
- Participation in analyzing assets and projects eligible for a green or social bond or for an impact investment project;
- Assistance to the team in all other daily tasks.
- Preference for graduates with a background in Sustainability, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide analysis and solutions.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other PC applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
