The Role
We seek an insight-generating and data-driven business analyst to drive operational planning and strategy with a hands-on, committed approach to ensure operations stay aligned with strategic objectives. In this position, you will conduct in-depth research, data analysis, and modelling to deliver insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis and Advisory
Gather and analyse internal and external data to identify market trends, risks, and opportunities
Conduct competitive intelligence research, benchmarking studies, and industry research
Build financial models and perform cost-benefit analyses to evaluate strategic alternatives
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership on strategic priorities
Operational Planning and Execution
Develop comprehensive plans and roadmaps in support of company objectives
Identify areas for process improvements, efficiency gains, and optimisation initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of operational strategies
Define critical metrics, benchmarks, and tracking mechanisms to measure progress
Business Performance and Reporting
Monitor business performance against strategic goals and performance indicators (KPIs)
Analyse operational data and metrics to identify trends and areas requiring intervention
Develop analysis, visualisations, and executive-level reports on strategic plan progress
Communicate results of analysis and make actionable recommendations to leadership
Requirements & Skills
MBA or related advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field from a reputable/highly rated University
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in strategy, business analysis, or management consulting
Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in data mining, modelling, and statistics
Proficiency in data visualisation and reporting tools
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
Proven project management skills
Excellent presentation and interpretation skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
