Our Client is focused on large scale, low cost, open pit mining. The Group produces significant volumes of other metals as by-products, including gold, silver, and zinc. They are currently searching for an experienced Reporting Manager to join their team.Responsibilities:Draft financial sections of annual and interim reports, and other reports/statements.Manage the Group's compliance with IFRS and provide technical accounting leadership across its subsidiaries arising from new or changes to existing IFRS pronouncements.Manage the Group's financial reporting requirements including those related to banking facilities and compliance with relevant regulations, including in the UAE and any applicable requirements issued by regulators.Support the year end and half year reporting process within the Group in coordination with Company Secretarial, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Treasury.Support the financial reporting teams in international offices during the year end and half year and in the execution of projects during the year.Manage the relationship with the Group auditors by overseeing the audit, reviewing and assessing communications, budgets, and reporting deadlines.Oversee Group and subsidiary accounting issues and resolve accounting and taxation issues for Group reporting purposes.Draft papers on financial, accounting, and tax issues affecting the Group, including for the Audit Committee and Board.Provide accounting and finance input to Group projects (e.g. take or pay nuclear power contracts, hedge accounting, business combinations) and the Group's Financial Planning and Analysis team.Assist the Group Tax Manager in preparing tax papers.Review entity IFRS statutory accounts across the Group's operations.Manage the Group's multi-currency consolidation system and manage the Group journals in the consolidation system.Design control processes relating to financial reporting.Prepare monthly finance reports.Support the Finance function and carry out such duties, and take on additional responsibilities, as may be agreed from time to time with the Financial Controller DMCC.Minimum Requirements:Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or overseas equivalent preferred) with 3 years+ post qualified experience with strong, up to date, accounting and financial technical skills.Experience of auditing or preparing multi-currency complex group consolidations.Track record of understanding, assessing, and implementing new accounting developments.Ability to critically review data and information, identify potential issues, and contribute to commercially driven solutions.Experience in effective communication and managing relationships with foreign subsidiaries/group companies in a collaborative manner.OneStream consolidation or other similar system experience is an advantage.
