Job summary
MISSION:
Responsible for managing the execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up. Prepares the commissioning progress reports to the project management and to the commissioning department. Coordinates assistance of the Vendor representatives. Supervises, if required, the performance tests.
TASKS:
Lead and manage commissioning activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.
Coordinate and supervise the commissioning team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient execution of tasks.
Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors regarding commissioning activities.
Ensure all commissioning activities comply with the Client's standards and other relevant industry regulations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance and address any issues promptly.
Prepare detailed commissioning documentation, including procedures, checklists, and reports.
Provide regular progress updates to project management and clients, highlighting key milestones and addressing any concerns.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful completion of commissioning activities.
Implement and monitor risk management plans throughout the project lifecycle.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related field).
15+ years of experience in commissioning project management for EPC / EPCI onshore / offshore Oil & Gas projects.
In-depth knowledge of Oil & gas industry standards and regulations.
Extensive experience with ADNOC standards and practices.
Fluent level of written and spoken English.
