My Tasks are:
Prepare HSE design philosophies, fire, and gas detection philosophy.
Prepare loss prevention deliverables such as:
Fire Water PFD's and P&IDs.
Hydrant & monitor location layout.
Firefighting & safety equipment layout.
Firefighting & safety equipment datasheets and specifications.
Prepare Fire Water Demand Calculations and sizing of firewater hydrant, sprinkler & foam systems.
Prepare Hazardous Area Classification schedule and hazardous area classification drawings.
Familiar with relevant international codes and standards (e.g. NFPA, API, IEC and others).
I should:
Have two to three years' experience in safety and loss prevention.
Have working experience for engineering consultancy working on Oil and Gas projects.
Have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
In addition, a master's degree in safety or a certified Functional Safety Engineer/Professional is advantageous.
