Shipping ManagerJob Description: SHIPPING MANAGER DUBAIThis company is a prominent player in the industrial materials sector, offering a diverse range of specialized products crucial for various industries. They are renowned for their expertise in material production and distribution.Logistics Coordination: Efficiently plan and coordinate transportation, managing break bulk and container shipments for timely delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders, addressing potential issues proactively.Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review crucial shipping documents, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and industry-specific requirements. Stay updated with any relevant changes.Supplier and Vendor Management: Cultivate relationships, negotiate terms for shipping services, and monitor carrier performance. Resolve disputes with stakeholders related to shipping activities.Cost Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize shipping costs, including consolidation and rate negotiation. Analyze expenses, recommend improvements, and manage related budgets and forecasts.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential shipping risks, including damage, theft, and regulatory compliance. Handle insurance coverage and claims, emphasizing safety and security standards.Team Management: Lead and support a team of shipping coordinators, fostering a positive work environment.
