Traffic Safety Engineer Position at Eram Talent

At Eram Talent, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Traffic Safety Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Traffic Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of transportation infrastructure in the country. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting traffic safety studies, analyzing traffic data, and recommending improvements to enhance road safety.

You will also be involved in the design and implementation of traffic control measures and systems, including traffic signals, signs, and road markings. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in traffic engineering, with a focus on safety. You should have a solid understanding of international traffic safety standards and guidelines, such as AASHTO and MUTCD.

Additionally, you should be highly skilled in using traffic analysis software, such as VISSIM, to model and simulate traffic patterns and scenarios. To succeed in this role, you must have:

The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

The capability to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

As the successful candidate, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Transportation & Traffic Engineering. You must have:

10-15 years of experience in Traffic Engineering, Highway Design, Transportation Planning & Traffic Safety Studies, including a strong track record in delivering results.

Comprehensive experience covering both technical and practical aspects.

An excellent ability to communicate in English with peers as well as members of management, and be able to produce clear and concise oral and written reports in English.

Knowledge and experience of using international standards such as AASHTO - Green Book, HCM, HSM, MUTCD, and ITE & FHWA guidelines.

Excellent knowledge of transportation planning evaluation tools and procedures, data manipulation, and proficiency in the use of relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, SYNCHRO, SYDRA, VISSIM, HCS, MS Office).
