If you have a strong background in plant molecular biology, hands-on experience in genetic modification, and a passion for advancing plant biotechnology, this is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.Designation: Post-doctoral ResearcherResearch Area: Plant Molecular BiologyLocation: Khalifa Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (KCGEB), United Arab EmiratesMinimum Qualifications:A strong background in plant molecular biology, with a focus on state-of-the-art technologies.Hands-on research experience in genetic modification of different species.Demonstrated expertise in various bioinformatics analyses, including transcriptome analysis.The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong critical thinking skills and excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills.Preferred Qualification:PhD in Plant Molecular Biology, Genomics and Biosciences, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.Minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral experience.A minimum of 3 first-authored and/or corresponding authored papers in peer-reviewed journals of high repute in the last 5 years.Job Description: As a Post-doctoral Researcher in Plant Molecular Biology at KCGEB, your responsibilities will include:Developing different transgenic crops.Molecular analysis of transgenic plants.Conducting transcriptome analysis.You will play a critical role in advancing research aimed at developing plants/crops adaptable to environmental stresses, such as drought, temperature, and salinity.
