We are seeking a talented and experiencedPipeline Stress Engineer to join our onshore operations team. Inthis role you will be responsible for conducting stress analysisand ensuring the integrity and reliability of our pipeline systems.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipelineengineering with expertise in stress analysis techniques industrycodes and standards and onshore pipelineoperations.JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:Performstress analysis of pipeline systems using industrystandard softwaresuch as Caesar II AutoPIPE or similar tools considering factorssuch as pressure temperature soil movement external loads andoperational conditions.Evaluate the structuralintegrity and performance of pipeline components including pipesegments fittings valves and supports to ensure compliance withdesign specifications and regulatoryrequirements. Review pipeline designsspecifications and construction plans to identify potential stressissues and provide recommendations for design improvements ormodifications.Collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams including pipeline designers civilengineers and construction professionals to optimize pipelinelayouts routing and supportarrangements.Conduct risk assessments andintegrity analyses to identify potential threats to pipelineintegrity such as corrosion erosion thirdparty damage andgeotechnical hazards and develop mitigationstrategies.Prepare technical reportscalculations and documentation to support regulatory submissionsproject proposals and engineering changerequests.Provide technical support duringpipeline construction commissioning and operation assisting withfield inspections troubleshooting and resolution of stressrelatedissues.Stay current with industry developmentsbest practices and emerging technologies in pipeline stressanalysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiativeswithin theorganization.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Masters degree preferred. 7 years ofexperience in pipeline stress analysis preferably in the oil andgas industry with a focus on onshore pipelineoperations. Proficiency in pipeline stressanalysis software such as Caesar II AutoPIPE CAEPIPE or similartools. Strong knowledge of industry codes andstandards including ASME B31.4 ASME B31.8 API 1104 and API5L. Familiarity with geotechnical andsoilstructure interaction principles isdesirable. Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complexengineering data and make sound engineeringjudgments. Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively withmultidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts tonontechnical stakeholders. ProfessionalEngineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensure ispreferred.VERTICAL:ENGINEERINGRemoteWork : No INT
