**Job Title**: MEP Supervisor (Facility Management Experienced)

**Location**: Doha, Qatar

**Job type**:1 month (with a possibility of extension)

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

- **Supervision and Coordination**: Supervise a team of technicians and subcontractors involved in MEP maintenance activities. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of MEP systems.

- **Maintenance Planning and Scheduling**: Develop maintenance schedules and plans for MEP systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively. Coordinate with the facility manager to schedule maintenance activities with mínimal disruption to operations.

- **Inspection and Testing**: Conduct regular inspections and testing of MEP systems to identify any issues or potential problems. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

- **Troubleshooting and Repair**: Respond to MEP system breakdowns and emergencies promptly. Diagnose problems and implement appropriate repair solutions to minimize downtime.

- **Budget Management**: Assist in developing and managing the budget for MEP maintenance activities. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.

- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Prepare reports for management on the performance of MEP systems and any issues encountered.

- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations. Implement appropriate safety measures to protect personnel and property.

- **Vendor Management**: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment for MEP maintenance. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, is typically required. Relevant technical certifications or vocational training may also be beneficial.

- **Experience**: Several years of experience in facility management, with a focus on MEP systems, is essential. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.

- **Technical Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing fixtures, fire protection systems, etc. Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems (EMS) is also desirable.

- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong troubleshooting abilities and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues with MEP systems.

- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively coordinating with team members, management, and external vendors.

- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- **Leadership Abilities**: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards governing MEP systems.

- **Adaptability**: Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and industry best practices in MEP maintenance and facility management.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,200.00 per month
