We are workingwith a Major Oil & Gas Operator in Qatar to source anOffshore Construction Supervisor that will be reporting to LeadConstruction and Head Construction Department. Position is basedoffshore on various production sites managed from Doha, Qatar, andoperating Oil&Gas facilities. with offshore/onshore(non-producing) sites. The position is part of the permanent teamand is offshore rotating (28d/28d). Please see details below.Title: Offshore Construction Supervisor Start Date: 01-Jan-2024.Duration: 31-DEC-2025 - extendable. Location: OffshoreJOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: To ensure compliance with CLIENT'SIncident Free culture, Health and Safety and environment policy isdelivering Incident Free Shutdown. To manage the preparation andexecution teams, for Construction activities offshore, of up to 60Contracted Supervisors, Foremen & Multi-skilledTechnician's. To prepare the construction works with theProject Team. To plan for the resources, equipment, tools,consumables, ..., required for the construction activitiesoffshore. Maintain daily communication with onshore coordinators toensure and report timely preparation and execution. To implementnecessary actions to guarantee objectives are achieved. Providedaily reports to and via the Construction Department ConstructionCoordinator. Accountable for the safe delivery of works executionat site for E&C. Contribute to the development of the level4 plans to maintain critical path. To deliver offshore works withzero punch items. Required qualification and experience: Relevanttechnical and industry experience in Oil and Gas operations,relevant trade qualification or degree. Advanced skills andknowledge of construction Management techniques preferably in thepetrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration and / orproduction industries. Awareness / basic use of computer tools(office pack) Excellent planning, organizational and communicationskills required. Solid leadership skills and ability to work in amulti-disciplined and multi-cultural environment. Fluent in English(listening, writing and speaking) and its technical vocabulary.Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
