The functions of the Service Manager are to manage the entire day-to-day operation of services and are responsible for customer satisfaction and the management of subordinates (i.e., supervisors, crew leaders, technicians, customer service officer, and company management).

Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and conduct training for supervisors, crew leaders, and technicians theoretically and practically using Unimar’s Service Guides & Modules.
  2. Assign daily duties to supervisors and follow up on their performance regarding site visits, spot-checking crews, and conducting monthly or quarterly reports (PPMR).
  3. On receipt of the contracts, allocate jobs to supervisors and crews.
  4. Check the following on a regular basis:
    1. Stock transfers from warehouse to the crews.
    2. Control the stock on hand of the crews.
    3. Monitor monthly stock and inventory reports in the warehouse.
    4. Set inventory par levels for all stock items in the warehouse.
  5. Conduct workshops and orientation on any new products introduced in the operation to the crews.
  6. Ensure that the status of vehicles, equipment, tools, and machinery is always in good condition; report any breakdowns immediately to management and the master mechanic for repairs.
  7. Monitor the status of safety gear with the crews, including uniforms, masks, safety shoes, gloves, and goggles, and submit requisitions to management for replenishment.
  8. Receive and study customer files regarding the scope of work, details of premises, infestation situations, and contact persons prior to preparing the annual scheduling of services.
  9. Prepare a work plan procedure upon signing any Class A service contract and present it in a general initial coordination meeting with the customers.
  10. Conduct a general orientation/coordination meeting with every Class A & B customer representative upon signing any new contract to discuss treatments, schedule of services, and any other requirements.
  11. Prepare operations instruction sheets upon signing any service contract and receipt of customer files, locating the job to the crews A, B & C, and defining all details of the scope of work, frequencies, and other instructions.
  12. Check and approve all job cards of crews upon completion of jobs.
  13. Conduct periodical inspections and surveys at customer sites on a routine basis and/or upon complaint.
  14. Check and approve all job cards received from the crews on a daily basis.
  15. Oversee and approve daily job orders to crews when prepared by the customer service officer.
  16. Approve all PPMR or any other technical reports prepared by the supervisor/entomologist prior to presentation to the customer.
  17. Prepare and submit overall reports to customers on any upcoming situations.
  18. Conduct courtesy visits to customers to strengthen relationships with their representatives.
  19. Conduct sales contacts during available time, including premises surveys, defining scope of service systems, and preparing estimations and quotations.
