PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee in line inspection projects. By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. The general role for Project Manager includes managing the PipeCare operational projects in Europe. PipeCare operational projects involve (but not limited) the mobilization of the resource to the Oil & Gas fields, servicing the Oil & Gas pipelines, arranging field surveys and field verifications, demobilization of equipment upon completion and Reporting. The candidate will lead a project team, producing, executing and controlling the project budget. The Project Manager is responsible to deliver the project in accordance with the contractual Scope of Work, on time, on budget and achieve customer satisfaction. We only consider the candidates based in UAE.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

  1. Contract review;
  2. Planning and coordination of activities;
  3. Ensuring all project related info is entered in ERP;
  4. Plan internal and external KOM;
  5. Place all necessary requests and check with RM on resource;
  6. Review assigned budget from sales;
  7. Request site assessment;
  8. Request RM, TM, Log(supply chain) & DA for their services and agree on dates (Handshake);
  9. Request Task to RM;
  10. Request Task to TM;
  11. Request Task to LOG;
  12. Request Task to DA;
  13. Create Purchase requisitions when required;
  14. Job Safety Analysis;
  15. Have a briefing meeting with relevant parties when required internally;
  16. Obtain written approvals from customers prior to run & have focal point identified from customer side prior to mobilization;
  17. Communicate regularly with the field teams;
  18. Realization of field activities;
  19. Demobilization activities;
  20. Payment milestones /Invoicing;
  21. Follow up on Invoice approvals;
  22. Responsible for upselling and cross selling;
  23. Ensure tool/MP rent is paid on time;
  24. Prepare and participate in commercial project review meeting.

Requirements

Skills/Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant).
  2. Valid PMP certificate (is a must).
  3. Min 5 years of operation planning experience in the role of Project Manager.
  4. Experience in Oil and Gas sector or EPC contracting.
  5. Computer skills in Microsoft Office and PM software at an intermediate level.
  6. Fluency in English.
  7. Ability to travel extensively.

Accountability

  1. Timely Project execution.
  2. Project Manpower control.
  3. Safety in all places to be ensured at site.
  4. Timely reports submission.

Physical And Mental Requirements

  1. Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  2. Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  3. Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  4. Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  5. Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  6. Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.

Inspection Technologies

  1. Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, especially circumferentially oriented.
  2. Transverse Field Inspection (TFI): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, primarily axially oriented.
