We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Document Translator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Medical Document Translator in the Content & Translation industry, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently translate medical documents from one language to another while maintaining the technical and scientific integrity of the content. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Medical Document Translation: Translate a wide range of medical documents, including medical reports, patient records, research papers, clinical trial documentation, pharmaceutical information, and other healthcare-related materials. Ensure accurate and precise translation of medical terminology, concepts, and jargon.
  2. Language Proficiency: Demonstrate strong language skills in both the source and target languages, with an emphasis on medical and scientific terminology. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology in both languages to ensure accurate translation.
  3. Cultural Competence: Consider cultural nuances and sensitivities when translating medical documents to ensure that the content is appropriate for the target audience and complies with cultural norms.
  4. Research and Terminology Management: Conduct research to gather relevant medical information and ensure the accurate use of medical terminology. Utilize specialized medical dictionaries, glossaries, and resources to ensure consistent and accurate translation.
  5. Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to formatting guidelines. Ensure that translated documents are of high quality and error-free.
  6. Confidentiality and Compliance: Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive medical documents. Follow regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to medical translation.
Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in translation are highly desirable. Proven experience in medical document translation, preferably within the Content & Translation industry. Excellent language skills in both the source and target languages, with a strong command of medical terminology. In-depth knowledge of medical and scientific concepts, procedures, and terminology. Familiarity with specialized medical translation tools and resources. Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in translated documents. Proficiency in utilizing translation software and tools. Strong research skills to gather medical information and terminology. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Company Industry:
