What is the purpose of this role in the delivery of our mission The role will manage a dramatic revenue growth programme, whilst ensuring the function delivers in a globally consistent and efficient way. Working with our BDD you will prove new market opportunities, and build on our existing verticals. This is a high-profile, influential position at Orbital that will test as well as reward. Ultimately, your role is to increase sales revenues and build successful long-term client relationships, directly or through an aggressive programme of recruitment. Key responsibilities / activities of the role:

  • Drive business revenue, identifying and developing new opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company.
  • Work closely with the BDD and executive team to continue to build out the company's GTM strategy and ensure successful implementation and execution to deliver growth.
  • Track and research market and vertical trends, in order to recommend new products and services to cater for these emerging trends and any relevant pain points.
  • Build and grow solid relationships with key prospects, distributors and internal and external customers in order to bring new business opportunities to the organisation.
  • Attend and assist in organising global and local events to grow your network and Orbital's brand awareness, with a willingness to travel globally.
  • Find potential partnership opportunities for the business with a view to expanding its reach and/or improving its processes.
  • Package Orbital's solution and present solutions to cater to identified needs and pain points.
  • Negotiate large and complex commercial contracts with key stakeholders and senior executives to maximise the monetisation of our products and services.
  • Foster a collaborative and empowering team environment that encourages growth and innovation.
  • Advocate for customer needs cross-departmentally, ensuring customer feedback is heard and acted upon to improve our product and customer experiences.
  • Identify other opportunities to increase our brand awareness in the market and work with Marketing and other departments to grow our brand in the market and verticals of focus.
What is the scope of accountability for the role:
  • Accountability for driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Responsibility to explore new markets and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Accountability for acquiring new clients and managing relationships with existing clients.
What are the essential skills, qualifications and experience required for the role
  • 2/3+ years of experience in large/mid-market corporate sales/client relationships in financial services.
  • Understanding of financial services and/or crypto.
  • Existing network in any of the following: gambling, corporate service providers, aviation, marine sectors.
  • Experience in developing sales and relationship strategies as well as contributing to overall business strategies.
  • Knowledgeable and business-savvy. Knows the market, the business, puts the customer first, and understands the value of every interaction.
  • Exceptional energy, emotionally intelligent with a can-do attitude.
  • Highly logical and persuasive.
  • Outstanding communication skills towards customers, external partners, and across all functions and all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical and organisation skills.
