We are currently seeking a qualified Back End Developer to join our team at RIV Technologies and contribute to the development of our RIV Wallet product. RIV Wallet is a non-custodial digital wallet designed to enable secure and efficient blockchain interactions, including on/off-ramps and upcoming features. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in Golang, with experience in Rust considered a plus. A solid grasp of REST APIs and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is essential. We require a minimum of three years of experience in software engineering, with a demonstrable portfolio of successfully developed applications. Additionally, hands-on experience with major cloud environments, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), is required. Experience with blockchain development is a plus. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of RIV Wallet, helping us deliver a robust and innovative product to meet the needs of our users and achieve our business objectives.

Responsibilities

Design, create, and maintain cutting-edge back-end software for RIV Wallet using Golang, ensuring functionality, security, and efficiency.
Develop and integrate REST APIs to enable seamless communication and processing within the wallet infrastructure.
Implement and manage message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka to handle asynchronous data processing.
Deploy, maintain, and optimize applications in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide scalable technical solutions.
Perform debugging, testing, and code reviews to ensure software quality, reliability, and security.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in back-end and blockchain development.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least three years of experience with Golang (Rust experience is a plus).
Solid experience with REST API development and integration.
Proficiency with message queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Hands-on experience with major cloud environments, particularly AWS.
Optional experience with blockchain development.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
